Scrubber dryers work by mechanically driven brushes scrubbing the floor surface and removing the dirt. The residue is collected by squeegees and deposited into the collection tank for disposal later. Floors are left dry which is essential for safety in the workplace or public areas. When choosing a scrubber dryer be advised that cylindrical brushes are much better for degreasing recessed floors and giving a polished effect, whereas disc brushes are best for adherent or persistent dirt and grime. Again these machines are available as walk behind or sit and ride.
